KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Team Leadership
? Drive the overall go-to-market into the security space with a strong understanding of market segments.
? Manage product marketing managers focused on key markets and delivering value to the entire company.
? Market Intelligence
? Produce deep analysis of market segments including market sizing, market shares, and target prospect lists & profiles.
? Be the expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria.
? Work with the Product Management to determine customer or requirements and personas.
? Understand broader trends in the security space as well as adjacent spaces to guide overall strategy.
? Understand the core value in the provider product family.
? Sales Enablement
? Communicate the solution story of the products to the sales team and develop the required sales tools including presentations, proposals, scripts etc. to enable sales.
? Supporting the channel team with sales collateral, best practices and training.
? Collaborating cross functionally on competitor pricing, market development, selling and field solutions.
Marketing Guidance
? Develop the strategy and work closely with marketing on the go-to-market into the key markets.
? Identify new opportunities to increase market awareness and lead generation.
? Work with analysts or journalists to represent Arbor's new initiatives.
? Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan for channels.
Qualifications
? Skills and Specifications
? Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing and development processes.
? Strong leadership, sales support, and strategic analysis skills.
? Develop effective relationships and operate with senior leadership, peers, and employees.
? Excellent analytical and presentation skills including demonstration skills.
? Proven knowledge in market and customer research.
? Education and Qualification
? 10+ years of product marketing or management experience
? 5+ years managing product marketers or managers
? Bachelor's in business or technical field, MBA preferred
? Willing to travel 25%
?Requirements
? 3+ years of security product marketing or management experience.
? Experience in marketing network security products.
? Great communications skills.
? Wants to be a team members and not a "lone wolf"
