Job Description :
The Director of Product Marketing plays a critical role in SAVO's go to market strategy, from ensuring the right product messaging, to managing customer and competitive intelligence, to owning the execution of new product launch campaigns. This role closely collaborates with all functional aspects of the business including, sales, marketing, customer success, and innovation, to ensure that SAVO's product capabilities and differentiators are clearly articulated and understood by the market.
Develop and manage product messaging framework to enable organized marketing of product capabilities and differentiation.
Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross functional execution of the plan.
Oversee and direct field readiness programs to educate sales, pre-sales and customer success teams on the capabilities and value of new product innovations.
Manage and direct competitive intelligence program including hiring and managing a resource dedicated to competitive intelligence.
Develop and manage product pricing strategies for existing and new products.
Become expert in customer business processes and product needs. Represent customer needs and feedback into product road map process.
Work closely with sales and marketing to define and execute demand generation activities.
Represent product capabilities at industry events, trade show, analyst briefings, and strategic prospect engagements.
Provide best practices references on similar clients by sales model, industry, or challenge and provide best practices on strategies.
Understand the value proposition of CRM and other Sales & Marketing tools.
Articulate the value proposition of SAVO?s integrations with these solutions and ensure proper product positioning and competitive placement.
Support customer requests for information including the completion of RFIs / RFPs
Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to prioritize customer enhancement requests and to plan and to contribute to future product releases
Job Requirements :
7+ years? product marketing experience with including at least 2+ years? experience in a customer facing role.
Effective presentation skills via years of experience to both functional and technical material to clients at a variety of levels including C-Level, Sales, Marketing & IT
Effective business writing skills with proficiency in Word, Adobe, and Excel
Professional experience working with Sales and Marketing audiences is required.
Proven personnel management and leadership skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with marketing colleagues.

Aptitude for technology and ability to connect technical concepts with customer value.
