The Director of Marketing ? Hospital Segment (and other large institutions) will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the strategic and tactical marketing plan for the T-SPOT brand to hospitals in North America. In addition, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for achieving commercial goals, including revenue, customers, volume per customer, A.U.P. and market share. This person is a key member of the commercial management team and will work directly with senior management on all key commercial matters.
Manage all aspects of product marketing including market segmentation, targeting and positioning (STP), price, promotion, and channel management for the hospital market.
Develop training programs and tools to maximize sales force/distribution effectiveness.
Complete marketing product design requirements for product development projects.
Develop integrated communications strategies and programs to generate awareness and leads including the use of trade shows, mail, web, and telephone.
Develop and execute trade show plan and booth graphics, messaging and tactics to maximize booth traffic and leads generated.
Develop and execute the company?s overall web strategy and content.
Coordinate with international marketing and sales team members as needed to share best practices and collaborate on strategies and tactics
Develop and manage customer presentations and materials to support customer marketin
Regular attendance and timeliness is essential
BA, BS, BSc (or equivalent), preferably in business, marketing or the natural sciences; MBA desired.
8-10 years experience in medical products marketing, preferably to laboratories and/or clinicians; some sales experience is desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and dynamic presentation skills.
Ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performance marketing team.
Ability to capture input from field sales and customers and convert it into high-impact strategies, programs, and selling tools.
Ability to translate highly-technical and complex studies, issues and concepts into simple and meaningful terms for sales representatives and physician offices.
Ability to develop strategies and tools to demonstrate cost-effectiveness and/or financial attractiveness of product offerings to customers.
Ability to travel 35%
