The Director of Marketing - Physician Offices will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing the strategic and tactical marketing plan for the T-SPOT brand to physician offices in North America, in parallel to ongoing commercial activities focused on hospitals and other large institutions. In addition, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for achieving commercial goals, including revenue, customers, volume per customer, A.U.P. and market share. This person is a key member of the commercial management team and will work directly with senior management on all key commercial matters. Manage all aspects of product marketing including market segmentation, targeting and positioning (STP), price, promotion, and channel for the physician offices market
Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy that is parallel to existing marketing and sales efforts for hospital markets, including conducting market research to define the market needs and solutions, developing pilot programs, and developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to address the physician office market.
Develop training programs and tools to maximize sales force/distribution effectiveness.
Complete product design requirements for product development or enhancement projects.
Develop integrated communications strategies and programs to generate physician awareness and leads including the use of trade shows, mail, web, and telephone.
Develop and execute trade show plan and booth graphics, messaging and tactics to maximize booth traffic and leads generated.
Coordinate with international marketing and sales team members as needed to share best practices and collaborate on strategies and tactics
Develop and manage customer presentations and materials to support customer marketing
Regular attendance and timeliness is essential
BA, BS, BSc (or equivalent), preferably in business, marketing or the natural sciences; MBA desired.
8-10 years experience in medical products marketing, preferably to laboratories and/or clinicians; some sales experience is desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and dynamic presentation skills.
Ability to recruit, develop and retain a high-performance marketing team.
Ability to capture input from field sales and customers and convert it into high-impact strategies, programs, and selling tools.
Ability to translate highly-technical and complex studies, issues and concepts into simple and meaningful terms for sales representatives and physician offices.
Ability to develop strategies and tools to demonstrate cost-effectiveness and/or financial attractiveness of product offerings to customers.
Ability to travel 35%
