As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for one or more of our product lines. You will work with the product management team to develop a compelling story for the products. This includes messaging, positioning and branding. You will be responsible for product pricing, promotions and product launches, as well as managing the entire launch process. You will translate technical features into clearly articulated customer benefits which will be integrated into product collateral, sales training materials, web content and other promotional materials. You will author data-sheets, case studies, white papers and any other material that helps promote the company?s product lines in the market. You will author thought leadership articles both on the company blog and in other publications as opportunities arise.
You will maintain a tight grasp of the competitive landscape, updating competitive sales materials and
acting as an internal expert of the market.
We are looking for an intelligent, creative, detail-oriented thought leader and professional who can prosper in a fast paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent management and organizational skills. Experience in web content management and/or social solutions will be treated as a plus. Experience in the software applications domain is a requirement.
Minimum 10 years product marketing experience
Product marketing experience in the domain of software applications; Experience in web content management and/or social solutions preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a prior author of world-class sales collateral such as white papers, case studies, PPT presentations, data sheets, product demo videos, product scripts, etc.
Experience in product pricing, product messaging, and product positioning
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Outstanding attention to detail
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
