Job Description
We?re looking for an individual with strong product marketing skills that has had experience defining market-relevant solutions for both mid-market and large customers for a cloud software company. This is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter to become an expert in the customer experience management space with a company that created the Net Promoter Score. (www.satmetrix.com)
You will be responsible for partnering with Sales and Product Management to define market opportunity and create business plans. You?ll develop winning positioning and messaging and drive global, go-to-market strategies. You?ll work closely with the Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing teams to ensure your portfolio of solutions is clearly positioned and communicated to the marketplace. You?ll drive communication of our messages to the client-facing teams at Satmetrix. You?ll work cross-functionally to identify ways to measure our success and to help drive business performance achievement and improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic analysis of the customer experience marketplace
Identify and prioritize key customer uses cases that require solutions to be met
Collaborate with Product Management around the specification of market requirements for the Net Promoter Application
Develop and own creative customer acquisition strategies including trials and freemium offerings
Identify and drive Proof of Concepts and references with Clients
Create and own product positioning, messaging and pricing
Drive product launch efforts and go-to-market plans
Lead the creation of sales and customer enablement kits
Track the performance of solutions against plans
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
5+ years experience in product marketing, direct marketing, or field marketing
5+ years analyzing products, customers and competitors
Must have product marketing experience in Cloud software and/ or a Software as a Service (SaaS) company, online marketing or consumer marketing firm preferred
Experience operating in SMB as well as large enterprise market
Knowledge of enterprise marketing and sales processes
Experience with freemium products and trial offerings preferred
Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong communication and project coordination skills, with an ability to work effectively with Global Marketing, Product Development and Sales to lead and execute on a wide variety of product marketing initiatives.
Strong organizational, analytical and execution skills
