About the Job:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Product Marketing is an integral part of a fast-paced marketing team and will collaborate with all departments within the company. The Director is responsible for defining an innovative and successful line of services by performing competitive analysis, defining market and product requirements, creating sales and marketing materials, training sales and partners and evangelizing the companys services. The Director must have experience in marketing subscription-based services to businesses through direct, indirect and online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop marketing and product requirements (MRDs/PRDs) for both managed hosting services and subscription-based cloud services
Author compelling content for the website, collateral, service descriptions, customer use cases, industry solution notes, application notes and white papers
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering on product- and process-related product development
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to devise strategies such as, campaigns, promotions, training, and/or contests that drive specific product goals
Provide quantitative and competitive analyses to support changes to product portfolio strategy (product, pricing, promotion, distribution)
Work closely with the companys Alliances and Channels team to support partner go-to-market (GTM) initiatives
Speak on behalf of the company at industry events
Present to the salesforce and partners
Provide tactical support to Sales on an ad hoc basis
Required Skills:
Be able to lead the execution of a product vision that encompasses traditional hosting, next generation cloud computing, online subscription-based SaaS

Education/Experience Required:
5+ years product marketing experience for software, SaaS and/or hosting services
5+ years experience in the computer, software, SaaS, storage, data center, infrastructure, telecommunications, or hosting industries
Experience driving growth of online subscription-based services by managing the user experience, content, SEO, SEM and complex online advertising strategy strongly preferred
Advanced knowledge of software development, computing, storage and networking technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Extensive project management experience
Strong command of accounting and financial concepts
BA/BS or equivalent experience in technical or financial discipline
MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
