The Role: The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for developing and driving product positioning and market positioning of Clearleap?s suite of content management and next generation video on demand delivery products. They will be a skilled Product Marketing specialist with specific experience in traditional or online video distribution who will work closely with the Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Product Management functions to achieve their goals.
Market/opportunity sizing and development of initial business plans for new offerings
Developing complex Market Requirement Documents
Coordination of product launch and post launch activities, including all aspects of the business (marketing, sales, training, implementation)
Content and development of messaging battle cards, sales literature, sales presentations, and white papers
Content development for marketing communications, including website, webinars, whitepapers, product slicks, etc.
Developing and communicating internally both market and competitive analyses
Close coordination with Corporate Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, and Product Management
What You Will Need:
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in product management and knowledge of video technologies. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess exceptional presentation and writing skills. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Bachelor?s Degree required; MBA preferred
8-10+ years? experience in Product Marketing role within the media industry
Experience with a combination of enterprise, SaaS, and Cloud offerings
Experience in high growth companies
Clear and concise technical writing skills
Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills and a reputation for getting things done
Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
