Job Description :
Director of Production & Operations Engineer - will report my client's President. He/she will have primary responsibility for all performance monitoring, production optimization, field support, and well work/intervention activity for the company operated assets. In addition he/she will provide engineering analysis for acquisition evaluations, field revitalization plans, and, will support permitting and regulatory activities.
Responsibilities:
?Acquisition evaluation input including technical screening, decline analysis, and economic runs
?Performance monitoring of waterflood properties and maintaining up to date field data
?Artificial lift design, troubleshooting, and optimization (beam pump, ESP)
?Well workover/intervention selection, design and execution support
?Surface production and test equipment (wellhead equipment, pumps, tanks, flow-lines, separation equipment, etc.) design input, troubleshooting, and optimization
?Revitalization and development project AFE cost estimation and project management
?Basic reserve estimation (e.g., decline curve and volumetric analyses, etc.) including work with third party consultants.
?Engineering input for production chemical treating programs.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have well rounded domestic oil asset experience with secondary recovery operations, and provide:
Engineering leadership and field operations support necessary to optimize production, maximize efficiency, and to ensure prudent cost management.
Experience with economic case development and reserve estimation.
