As the Director of Professional Services , you will lead a team of Client Solutions Managers to successfully deliver, deploy and implement technical account strategies and Mashery's solution at the customer site, ensuring continued customer success. Acting as the customer's advocate and trusted advisor, you will be expected to interface with engineering, product management, customer success and sales teams to provide customer feedback and insight to improve product solution and direction. You'll also be responsible for identifying key risks and mitigation strategies that may impact the success of each implementation - by the way, we have a 100% success record for implementations since Mashery's inception in 2006. For this role, you'll bring detailed knowledge of software development and web/internet technologies. You also enjoy working with people and technology more than with your head down in a product development setting. Client Solutions Managers are our customers' favorite people so as the fearless leader overseeing this team, your role is critical to the success of our customers and to Mashery!
Minimum 5 years experience in managing professional services, pre/post sales engineering, implementations or technical services teams
BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, project management and relationship building skills with the ability to multi-task, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Proven customer engagement skills and track record of delivering, deploying and implementing cloud-based technologies
Outstanding ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse customer audience, including C-level executives, sales and technical staff
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to problem solve complex technical issues
Solid understanding of shared hosting environments and SSL certificates
Experience working with a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offering a huge plus
Conversant in common HTTP Web Services protocols, including XML-RPC, SOAP and REST, and the pros and cons of each
Experience with enterprise middleware/integration platforms a huge plus
