Director of Program Management/NPI Tilera

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Program Management/NPI will be responsible for the operational success of Tilera Corp. ensuring seamless team management and development of our product delivery process. In this newly established role, the Director of Program Management will be responsible for the following:
Manage multiple concurrent programs and interdependencies within a multi-discipline development organization (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements) for identified key products
Including: Project definition, risk analysis, planning, strategy, execution, closure with key stakeholders and team members
Lead the establishment of project execution processes and enable engineering teams to execute and achieve project goals
Facilitate and present data to make decisions among quality, cost, resource, scope and time restraints
Dynamically adjust project execution and resource plans to adapt to real-time changes
Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and project decisions
Utilize and improve current business and program management processes & develop best practices
Facilitate effective, efficient meetings
Monitor and report progress/changes against the project plan, perform quality reviews with key stakeholders (i.e. Executive Staff)
Create and validate metrics and ensure data integrity
Champion robust processes, best practices, efficiency, and quality
Undertake strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation
Develop and maintain project and action tracking documentation
Experience and Skills Required:
BSEE or CS
Hardware/Software systems level experience required; particularly experience with complex deliverables integrating processors, boards, and OS and application software
10-15 years Program Management experience
Includes:
Solid understanding of project execution phases from concept to production
Solid experience developing and managing project plans including schedule, milestones and dependencies, resource needs
Semiconductor industry experience
Experience in utilizing and improving current business / PM tools (i.e. MS Project, etc.).
Able to interact successfully at all levels of an organization
Has maintained excellence through continuing education and participation in organizations such as PMI or other professional organizations.
PMP certification preferred
