We are looking for a high achiever with a track record of success and multi-release program management experience who can rise to the competitive challenges presented by key competitors like Google, Apple, Cisco, SalesForce.com and Oracle. You must have a proven track record of thought leadership, leading innovation and creative vision, shipping through multiple product cycles while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, rapid shipping schedules, and working with a global/distributed team. The ideal candidate must also be successful operating within a fast moving engineering team and help drive the culture in the team. You should possess a strong technical background and an excellent grasp of software engineering principles and exceptional problem solving. A demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on new technical domains and comfort in discussing, understanding and contributing to detailed technical issues is required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
? 5-10 years of relevant (leading program management organizations) experience within a technology-driven business, preferably business applications in an Enterprise Environment
? Demonstrated success for repeatedly shipping quality commercial technology products within targets, preferably commercial software products
? Proven track record of successfully creating, building, and delivering large engineering projects that span multiple years, preferably commercial software products
? Success building and managing highly talented, geographically distributed technology teams (at least 30 people in size). Ability to build collaborative environments in distributed locations while holding groups accountable for results
? Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to apply them at all levels of the organization, and working collaboratively with product planning, marketing, tech support and sales teams
? Ability to effectively represent the product and internally with executives and employees as well as externally with partners, customers, press, and analysts
? Deep experience contributing to/driving the vision, value proposition, and strategy of a product with ability to work through ambiguities and competing priorities to develop and gain approval for strategies
? A passion for new UI paradigms incorporating innovative technologies
? Demonstrated acumen in driving industry leading breakthroughs and innovative experiences
? Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft technologies, application and system design, and user experience
? A BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or comparable technical discipline) is required
