Director of Quality & Reliability Tilera

Our TILE-Gx72 processors are breaking new ground. We?ve got the right solution at the right time in an exploding market, but we need an outstanding Director to define new processes and procedures to insure everything we ship out the door- silicon or hardware, meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
We want a QA/Reliability leader who can dive deep into technical issues, with strong knowledge from past experience and the creative skills for resolving common semiconductor Q/RE issues. You?ll work with Operations and Engineering Managers to define/execute ISO documentation hierarchy, naming conventions, revision control system and work with RMA/FA leads to improve FA/RMA process for silicon and platforms.
You must also have a strong statistical background to define and implement best class quality practices at all manufacturing sites. As the Director of the team, you will be expected to represent Tilera Quality & Reliability to our customers and gain their trust in our process and every product we ship to them.
Desired Skills & Experience
BA/BS in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
7 to 10 minimum years of experience managine a Quality/Reliability Engineering organization
Must have strong semiconductor component manufacturing (front and back end) and supply-chain experience
Experience with deep submicron fabrication processes
Prior work done on microprocessor products
Experience with board manufacturing quality and reliability desireable
Established strong reputation with OEM customer quality and procurement teams.
Excellent understanding of semiconductor test methodology and procedures.
Experience putting ISO and Quality practices in place in startups or other fast-paced environments
Ability to travel to customer and supply chain partners domestic and international
