Job Description
1) Driving team's lead generation & activities to ensure goals and metrics are achieved 2) Creating processes and systems that enable success of a national program with remote employees 3) Establishing Regional Business Development strategy as a program ready for expansion
Responsibilities Include:
Leading a team of six direct reports - five senior-level Regional Development Directors in major markets: NYC, San Francisco, LA/Orange County, Colorado, and Arizona - and an operations associate
Developing large influencer and partner recruitment programs and presentations
Overseeing tracking and reporting of Regional Business Development-generated leads & conversion
Developing centralized cross-departmental processes and systems to improve marketing operations
Managing and forecasting of team budget; ensure on-time and on-budget execution of plans with strong attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in a business development leadership role
Strong history of setting and exceeding goals
Clear sense of vision: rallying people, strong leadership skills, ability to pioneer initiatives
Business Development experience in True Small Business with an ability to create value from scratch
Ability to uncover and realize value in potential opportunities
High communication skills: written, spoken, one-one-one and in large group settings
Ability to maintain an optimistic, flexible attitude in a very fast-paced environment
Ideal Qualifications:
10+ years experience leading people in a business development role
Excellent relationship skill and build rapport with people
Strong sense of execution: forward thinking, operational, proactive, organized, measurable, deliverables
Proven track record of leading remotely located teammates
Travel
Extensive national travel (60%) required. Local travel in Arizona also required.
