Director of Sales Deepfield Networks
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DeepField is a fast growing cloud startup with a growing list of Fortune 500 telecom and enterprise customers. Network World recently declared DeepField one the top 10 hottest cloud startups in 2012 for our ground breaking Big Data and Cloud Genome technologies.
The Director of Sales will lead DeepField global sales efforts, including the expansion and development of a global sales team, assisting in the development of sales strategies and positioning, creating compensation plans and managing existing customer accounts. The position will report directly to the CEO.
The position will include both significant variable compensation and equity components.
Initially, the position will require some travel (mainly North America).
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of 7 years of sales engineering or account management experience.
Strong background in networking and / or cloud services, including existing contacts and familiarity with the major players in the ecosystem.
Actively seeking the challenges and rewards of a fast-paced startup environment. You thrive in early stage companies with strong engineering driven cultures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to immediately fill or grow into a VP of Sales position.
Extremely comfortable with networking / cloud concepts and the ability to explain technical value propositions (including at times independently of the support of Sales Engineering)
Bachelor of Science or a similar degree is preferred
