Develop and execute measurable demand and lead generation programs that drive revenue generation through direct and indirect sales teams and activities that produce qualified sales leads for the sales organization meeting corporate business objectives.
Manage a team of inside sales development representatives that are the first wave of inbound opportunity qualification and outbound prospecting for new business appointments within the sales organization
Design, launch and manage creative outbound campaigns with script development and target market identification in conjunction with sales and marketing quarterly objectives.
Hire qualified candidates with an eye towards building a strong sales bench with passionate, smart and motivated new hires.
Engage, coach and refine buyer-focused consultative selling sales tactics
Interlock with regional field sales leadership; ensure agreement on key priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions, emerging opportunities.
Partner with sales to establish lead scoring, prospect lead nurturing before/after a call with a salesperson and lead reporting through the sales funnel
Implement testing and experimental methodologies to enhance the lead generation process and effectiveness, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing.
Manage the closed-loop analytics of tracking the activity, conversion and trend metrics across the SDR team within a SFDC environment.
Measure and monitor sales funnel activity for predictable pipeline building. Analyze and interpret key metrics, recommend changes, and drive continuous improvement
Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to lead generation programs.
Desired skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in marketing and demand generation, or relevant experience
Proven leadership and staff development skills, including building and managing a team
Track record of successfully creating demand generation programs on a global basis
Metrics-driven, and the ability to showcase examples of demand generation campaigns
Previous experience in disruptive technologies, and Software-as-a-Service a plus
Strong knowledge and experience using Salesforce.com and Marketo
Ability to collaborate and develop strong, cross-functional business relationships
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field preferred.
