Director of Sales FieldView Solutions, Inc.
FieldView Solutions, Inc., headquartered in Edison, NJ, is looking for Director of Sales to join our high growth, venture backed software startup company. We are currently seeking candidates to manage individual sales territories within the US.
FieldView Solutions is the leading provider of real-time Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) data center monitoring software for businesses. We provide our customers with accurate, reliable information on all critical systems within their data centers, empowering them to make great decisions.
Job Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for sales in support of the Company?s sales objectives for the designated territory within the US.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all sales for the designated territory.
Manage sales resources (reps) for the territory.
Coordinate sales by establishing sales territories, objectives, and goals for the territory.
Actively manage accounts in the sales territory that is assigned to the sales director.
Develop and maintain client relationships independent of the manufacturer representatives.
Review and communicate market feedback to determine customers? commercial and product needs volume potential. Develops & implements sales plans in support of these needs and to accommodate company goals.
Coordinate liaison between the sales channel clients and internal FieldView Solutions departments in a manner that is within FieldView Solutions? best commercial interests, in support of the company goals. Perform these duties throughout the sales cycle; project inception through the post warranty period.
Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Manage direct reports of salesforce.com.
Prepare periodic sales reporting in a timely manner as required by the Chief Sales Officer.
Maintain the CRM tool on a daily basis for the territory.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a college degree or equivalent; Engineering degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years? experience in the sales engineered products preferably in the Electrical Power Industry
Excellent written and verbal skills are required, as well as verbal presentations in front of small groups.
Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities.
Must be able to communicate with the production, engineering, and application engineering teams.
Good commercial and negotiation skills are required
Must be able to work independently remote from the company?s headquarters
Must be self-directed and highly motivated.
Must exercise good judgment and decision making skills.
This position requires 50% travel, primarily within the assigned territory.
