Description: Plans and directs all aspects of PDV's channel development, objectives, and initiatives. Develops and implements sales strategies with partner channels in order to maximize revenue and meet / exceed sales goals. Represents the company in all activities associated with reseller/channel support. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Requirements and Responsibilities: Experience in developing channel programs from scratch that educate, engage, support and motivate reseller partners (VARs, Web Dealers, agents, etc.) Develop and facilitate a channel training program for reseller partners Must possess 10 years of combined experience in telecom, wireless voice and data channel sales, plus a strong database of prospective PDV reseller partners. Additional experience in LBS, push-to-talk, first responder markets desired Consistent track record of driving sales volume through the channel Excellent communication (verbal and non-verbal), presentation & interpersonal skills Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook and other email programs. Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously Experience working in a dynamic, fast growing start-up environment is critical Highly creative, Self-starter and Team Player.
