Director of Sales Information PeopleMatter
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Director of Sales oversees a team of Inside Sales Representatives and Business Development Representatives who specialize in prospecting into new accounts to acquire new customers, while also helping to grow subscription revenue within the existing account base. This position will afford the ideal candidate an opportunity to build a world class sales organization from a strong, currently laid sales foundation. This role is an expert on the PeopleMatter sales organization, its policies, and strategies, as well as an expert in planning and executing to increase revenue in all markets. The Inside Sales Manager will receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet these objectives and provides ongoing guidance to team members to meet pipeline generation and revenue goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
?Management, mentorship and development of the Inside Sales Representative and Business Development Representative teams to ensure successful individual and corporate goal attainments.
?Work closely with the representatives and their prospects in key deals to ensure success
?Create and maintain prospecting plans, success criteria, and other goals surrounding pipeline creation, sales opportunity management, accurate forecasting and partner development
?Troubleshoot problems regarding internal policies, pricing and packing for example, to maintain a high level of satisfaction with our customers
?Develop strategies to increase pipeline and drive opportunities further in the sales cycle up to and including closure
?Review work of inside sales representatives to determine areas of improvement and identify new best practices
?Optimize lead generation efforts leveraging current sales and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce.com, Marketo, Echo-Sign, and Zuora
?Hire and train of new employees and facilitate improvement of all team members
?Motivate team members to perform at the highest level
?Collaborate with other managers and departments to facilitate new programs, processes and systems
?Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional
?All other duties as assigned
?5 - 10 years of successful inside sales and past leadership experience
?Bachelor?s Degree from a four year college or university
?Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a competitive environment
?Highly effective organizational and multi-tasking skills
?Proven ability to work effectively with various departments and teams
?Energetic professional who is a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
?Good relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
?Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, SFA tools, and MS Office tools.
