Director of Sales, North America Skyfire
We are a passionate group of professionals and we are looking for an equally dedicated person to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the Company's annual sales quota for your assigned account(s) through new business development within your account(s), detailed coordination on all aspects of complex sales and account management of mobility products and solutions, software or network systems. Experience with Tier 1 wireless carriers required, specifically Verizon and preferably other Tier 1 US wireless carriers. You will report to the VP Sales, Americas and be part of a dynamic team who loves what they do!
Consistently negotiates and closes new business.
Consistently maintains a reasonable number of weekly face-to-face prospect and customer meetings.
Grow assigned portfolio of business.
Demonstrate solution selling that articulates an understanding of probing to find customer problems or opportunities.
Negotiate customer contracts and be an expert for business issues as they relate to customer agreements.
Develops and maintains an effective business plan for sales account(s).
Maximize close rates and sales through smart direction of company resources.
Structure and manage relationships with new and existing customer divisions (ICs to senior executives), as well as complementary suppliers and partners within the customer ecosystem.
Drive sales by developing relationships and evangelizing solutions with prospects and customers. Identify customer issues and challenges to create new sales opportunities.
Develop planning and forecasting revenue models, including risk assessment, for monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers.
Establish feedback mechanisms from customers, prospects, and partners to the Product Management department.
Provides constant feedback to Sales management on the account.
Stay current on wireless industry issues and how they affect customers, competitors, partners as it relates to the Skyfire portfolio of products.
Accurately prepares Solution Engineers and other sales team members for customer demonstrations and presentations.
Shares input with Product Marketing in preparing sales materials and technical publications
Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in wireless telecom carriers, selling software and/or core network solutions.
BA/BS required. MBA a plus.
Direct selling relationship with Verizon network and product divisions. Other Tier 1 US carriers a plus.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective selling relationships in complex, matrix customer organizations
Demonstrated knowledge of software direct sales.?
Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong contract negotiation and writing skills?
Strong ability to create sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral
Flexibility in work schedule is required
Various means of travel are required, including air travel
Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve goals with minimal supervision in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
