Director of Sales, Online Advertising Manta
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This is your chance to work at the forefront of Manta Media's strategic media business, reporting directly to the Vice President of Strategic Sales, helping them set the long-term operating strategy for Manta?s growing sales organization.
As manager for the online advertising sales team, you will be instrumental in developing the existing associates and growing a high performing sales team. You will work cross functionally with the Sales, Marketing, Product Management, User Experience and Technology teams to provide high caliber service to our clients.
You will direct the process of developing integrated marketing programs to meet customer specific needs in the business media market place, competing in a sophisticated ad network environment.

Work with VP of Sales and marketing organization to develop channel and pricing strategy
Represent Manta at leading industry events
Build, manage and motivate a sales team in multiple locations (San Francisco, Dallas, NY, etc.)
Set budgets and aggressive goals and build a team that can meet those revenue targets
Develop appropriate compensation structure for team members
Coach and mentor National Sales Managers in account planning and selling strategies
Leverage deep industry rolodex to enhance pipeline for sales organization
Provide feedback to the technical and product teams on site enhancements and usability
10+ years of experience and a strong track record of building and managing high achievement sales teams within emerging, high-growth companies
A comprehensive understanding of the fast-changing, data driven ad technology marketplace
Knowledgeable in all aspects of online ad operations and systems; experience with Dart for Publishers (DFP) desired
Prior start-up/early stage experience, or a strong desire to be part of a start-up/early stage company environment
Extensive knowledge of Salesforce.com
Passion and vision for Manta's business required
Strong quantitative skills for forecasting, budgeting and campaign analysis
Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
Passionate about the art of selling
