Director of Sales Operations Aerohive Networks
Aerohive Networks is seeking a strategic leader to direct our worldwide sales operations. In this new role, you will help scale up the sales operations processes to accommodate current and future rapid worldwide growth. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to develop, deploy, and oversee the sales forecasting and reporting functions and partner with all other areas of the business. This is a key growth position in our organization, located in our Sunnyvale, CA corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Drive and evolve the effectiveness of our sales forecasting process.
Develop, and implement processes and procedures for sales and finance (Point of Sale collection and analysis, Deal Desk, etc)
Work closely with Sales VP?s on development, execution and administration of sales comp plans, including commission payouts, cross territory splits, etc.
Develop and provide ongoing analytics to VP Sales, CEO, CFO.
Collaborate with all other business owners to ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis, management, and dissemination of sales data.
Develop and enhance existing operating reports on sales and channel productivity, gross margins, distribution cost and other key metrics.
Define key metrics and develop a dashboard to provide regular reporting and measures of the health of the sales pipeline and execution.
Drive the exception-handling process for large, strategic deals which require creative structuring.
Manage all aspects of Salesforce including develop and ensure compliance and best practices
Manage a global team in Sales Operations.
Need to understand one and two tier distribution, and complexities of selling hardware (vs. software)
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus
Minimum of 15 years sales operations management experience in the high-tech industry. 5 of which at the Director/strategic level.
Strong systems background, proficient with CRM tools and expert with MS Excel.
Hands-on and capable of making decisions with solid attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
