Technology Sales Manager covering large Enterprise (Fortune 2000) accounts in your region. Product focus on SaaS-based Manufacturing and supply chain visibility and intelligence solutions. Position calls for strong technical, business and communication skills. Primary clients are middle and upper management at large Fortune 2000 companies focused on expense reduction and operational efficiencies. Position involves ability to work independently- managing prospecting, business and technical development and all steps of contract approval, review and closure.
Proven track record in sales execution and sales quota attainment are critical. Primary job duty is to sell supply chain software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Serus sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Candidate should possess the following experience and skills:
5 or more years of sales experience including technology sales experience
Ability to successfully close new Serus business.
Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.
Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.
Ability to understand and handle client objections. ? objections from different functions and levels in the client organization.
Work collaboratively with product and professional services teams to set client expectations appropriately
Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues.
Ability to quickly develop knowledge of Serus? strengths, competitive differentiators and competition in order to position company?s products for sales success
Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses within company guidelines
Willing to travel.
Bachelor degree or equivalent.
