Director of Sales, US Government Narus
Building upon strong success and high growth, this candidate will be well positioned to achieve extraordinary results for the US Federal Market. This position provides an opportunity to imprint your vision for the Federal Department of Defense (DoD) go to market strategy and execution. In this newly created position reporting to the Vice President of Federal we are seeking a Director of Sales/Business Development to lead our efforts in the DoD Agency area. He or she will be in a highly visible role whose results will have material impact on the overall success of the company in achieving its market share, revenue and profit objectives.
Develop and implement a strategic plan to accelerate and further establish Narus?s leadership position in the government sector.
Be a customer facing hands-on territory manager to gain new business directly with government agencies.
Create and execute strategy for continued aggressive revenue growth
Expand new customer engagements at Senior Management and Executive levels of accounts
Drive current engagements to close
Work with engineering and product management teams to build successful implementations of product sales.
Significantly grow the pipeline and lead capture of new customers.
Proven account executive with experience in government system software/services market with at least 8 years of experience
Must have strong business development and management skills
Engineering background strongly preferred
Demonstrate the ability to manage complex systems
Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple teams
Must be able to ?close? deals as well as increase pipeline
Must be able to work with Large System Integrators and Small Businesses
We prefer proven contacts and experience in DoD Agencies
Must understand complex, software sales and solution selling
TS/SCI a plus
