Job Overview:Define project goals, objectives, strategies and priorities;
Determine project team and roles of team members based on project requirements, timeframes and budget;
Determine resource requirements (including staffing, software, hardware, and faciliites) of projects, based on project specification;
Plan, monitor and control project performance and report on progress and cost in the most efficient way to achieve the project objectives;
Set and manage client expectations;
Manage day-today client interactions;
Ensure project meets internal and client expectation with respeect to quality, budget and delivery timelines;
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
Manage new or changed requirements as well as risks;
Review deliverables by team before passing to client;
Deliver projects on-time and to customer commitments;
Secure and maintain adequate and sufficient information distribution;
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure consistency in documentation, communicaton and delivery during a project;
Minimize our exposure and risk on projects;
Build up an efficient project team and related forums as chairman, as well as for dissolving it with lessons learned for organizational learning;
Drive for Operational Excellence in all areas, ensuring optimal utilization of drafted resources and applied processes;
Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, managing day-to-day client interaction and ensuring both teams have a clear unstanding of the goals for the project plan.
Required Skills & Experience
5 to 10 years of Technical Project Manager experience in Applications, back office system integration and IP Networks;
Engineering Master/Bachelor degree or similar;
Currently resides in Silicon Valley;
Strong background in technical planning of highly complex projects and products;
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders;
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing important, complex projects;
Stron interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills;
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget;
Extensive work with Communication Service Providers as a minimum and other verticals are desired;
Sel-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge;
Strong technical knowledge and experience of R&D SW and application development processes and integration;
Project management experience in small companies and global organizations;
Excellent communicator, decisive, results-driven, people-oriented person with good-networking skills along with the ability to motivate employees in the organization;
Strong ability to see the whole picture and to focus on the important details in a pragmatic and result oriented way with the ability to challenge when needed;
International experience is a must;
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, with requirements for continued professional development is a plus;
Team player with outstanding skills in cooperation amongst key stake-holders;
Proven and documented leadership skills;
Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
Understanding of and experience with Silicon Valley development culture;
Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project;
Must be willing to travel 50% of the time;
Excellent communication skills with customers, partners and team members;
Team player - work with multiple teams to deliver a unified solution, motivates collaboration in an efficient manner and mitigates team conflict and communication problems;
Ability to work as a single contributor with potential growth for potential leadership role.
