DescriptionPing Identity is seeking a leader for Director in our Solutions Marketing team. The role is to lead a team of marketing managers and own the go-to-market strategy of our broad range of identity and access management solutions. This position focuses on global marketing activities spanning solution planning, positioning, messaging, sales tools/training development and delivery, as well as subject matter expertise for marketing and thought leadership programs
Go-to-Market Strategy: Help drive overall go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for solutions consisting of Ping Identity products and services.
Solution Messaging/Positioning: Develop and implement high impact and differentiated solution positioning and messaging.
Business Cases: Create business cases and strategies for product capabilities required to meet solution needs. Gather and analyze data and prioritize market trends and direction.
Partnerships: Evaluate build vs partner strategies for new capabilities required to meet solution needs, identify and vet potential partners, and collaborate with Business Development on partnership negotiations and execution.
Buying/Sales Cycle: Blueprint buyer?s journey and map buyer decisions / information needs at each stage
Solution Launches: Drive solution launch planning. Coordinate all launch activities and provide guidance to the cross-functional launch team. Develop strategies to target accounts and generate sales leads for solutions.
Sales Tools: Develop and deliver high-impact sales tools such as collateral, presentations, case studies, demos, competitive positioning, etc.
Sales Training: Develop and deliver key sales training materials covering industry trends, value proposition, and competitive positioning.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on solutions in support of marketing programs, press and analyst relations.
Team Building: Mentor team members and build team capabilities.
? You have 10+ years of total work experience, preferably working with B2B
software and service the enterprise software industry, with progressively
? Strong understanding of technology and enterprise software
? Experience working closely with a direct sales force
? Experience with web-direct self-service strategies is a plus
? Experience working across geographically-dispersed teams is a plus
? You have a passion for marketing, an ability to communicate complex ideas in
succinct and compelling ways, and are analytical yet creative
? You're an outcome-oriented, quantitative and qualitative problem-solver who is
comfortable with ambiguity and has superb pattern-recognition abilities, and
can lead a team to complete complex projects under time-pressure
? You are a gifted written and verbal communicator, and enjoy crafting ?the
right? message via written documents.
? You have experience managing multiple internal stakeholders in order to build
consensus around complex ideas
? You are a strong project and team manager capable of recruiting and retaining
exceptional team members
? You're a driven self-starter with a positive outlook, flexible nature, and
tenacious work style that fits with our hyper-growth environment
? Willingness to travel
