We are looking for a rock star Director of Strategic Partnerships to join the Cardlytic?s Bank Operations team. This position will work closely with our Financial Institutions (FIs) to leverage their merchant relationships in an effort to grow the merchant base for the Cardlytics platform. This will require conducting meetings to identify merchants, qualify them for the platform, understand their strategic marketing objectives, and how they can utilize Cardlytics to achieve those objectives. This position will work closely with the FI Account Management team and the Merchant Sales team.
? Create presentations and conduct meetings with the FIs, their merchant partners and key stake holders
? Serve as the internal liaison between FI account management, merchant sales, and business development to ensure thorough communication and that the necessary resources, skill and expertise are engaged at the appropriate time
? Provide internal, executive level, updates to illustrate activity, challenges, opportunities, and growth
? Manage the day-to-day relationship between Cardlytics and the FI partners
? Identify and drive opportunities to expand strategic relationships
? Determine the manner in which merchants can utilize the Cardlytics platform to achieve their marketing objectives
? Create and execute the 6, 12 and 18 month plan for the strategic partnerships group
? Master the technical elements associated with campaign creation and management
Skills & Requirements
? Proven track record in attaining/exceeding quota based metrics
? Demonstrated effective communication skills that include internal communication of client opportunities, issues, escalations and external communication
? Merchant or FI sales experience a plus
? Strategic Marketing consulting experience a plus
? Demonstrated leadership and management skills coupled with strong business acumen
? Ability to build relationships with and influence multiple functional areas
? Demonstrated negotiation skills
? Ability to build consensus
? Detail and big picture orientation
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Ability to manage multiple tasks
? Demonstrated effective communication skills that include internal communication of client opportunities, issues, escalations and external communication that includes key Cardlytics messages
? Strong presentation skills, working knowledge of PowerPoint
? Bachelor degree required.
