Director of Strategy Venafi

Job Description:

The Director of Strategy is responsible for driving high-level corporate and product strategy to leverage Venafi?s comprehensive technology platform and market position to expand into new markets and extend the number and types of solutions Venafi can offer to make customers successful. This involves interacting with all groups and stakeholders within Venafi to devise implement and execute strategies.
Responsibilities:

Perform and analyze market research, including market trends, market sizing, competitive analysis, customer needs, and other relevant data. Compile and organize data so that it can be reviewed and analyzed by key stakeholders across the company
Develop and document actionable corporate and product strategies that incorporate product, go-to-market, partnering, and, where necessary, acquisition strategies
Work closely with key stakeholders, including product management, chief technology officer, business development, etc., to establish plans for the implementation of the strategies
Actively participate in the execution of the strategies

Required Skills, Knowledge, & Experience:

Associate level work at McKinsey, Bain or another top 5 management consulting firm
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent) preferred
MBA
Strong general technical competency required
Must be self-starting, hard-working, detail oriented, and inquisitive
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong leadership, teamwork, time management and problem solving skills.
Driven, creative, and results oriented.
