Director of Talent Acquisition Goodreads
We are searching for a creative, strategic and book-loving Director of Talent Acquisition to identify, engage and hire talented people for Goodreads. We are a start-up of 35 with big ambitions and, as our Director of Talent Acquisitions, you will play an integral role in our success. Responsibilities and Role:
Develop and drive a strategic hiring plan for Goodreads to meet our business goals
Apply creative strategies and traditional sourcing methods (internet, industry sites/job boards, career fairs, employee referrals) to generate awareness, build candidate pipeline and drive recruitment
Partner with our Management Team in achieving aggressive sourcing and hiring strategies
Innovate and implement best practices, tools and technologies
Provide extraordinary candidate experience
Provide leadership to the Human Resources function
Champion and build upon Goodreads winning culture and work environment
Key Capabilities:
Prior track-record of driving Talent Acquisition for a high-growth consumer technology company
Exceptional people skills to attract and develop highly talented employees
Project and event management skills
Sound knowledge of workforce analytics, metrics, and an eager user and early adopter of technology
Experience and knowledge in HR strategies and best practices
Plays well with others (team player) but comfortable working independently (self driven)
Bachelor?s Degree (Advanced degree a plus)
Passion for discovering, reading and sharing books (this might be listed last, but if you don?t have this, this role is not a good fit for you)
