Position
As AtHoc is going through a significant growth phase, we seek a Director of Technology ? DoD Sector who will architect AtHoc enterprise solutions, oversee their implementations and identify trends and future needs across DoD.
Responsibilities
Full accountability for all technical aspects of AtHoc solutions across DoD
Evaluate and propose architecture and technology solutions for AtHoc enterprise solutions for DoD
Provide hands-on leadership to AtHoc technical team to deliver high quality AtHoc enterprise solutions
Create, own and foster relationships with DoD technology community
Anticipate and react to technology changes in DoD to ensure AtHoc retains leadership position in mass communication space
Establish technical standards across all AtHoc DoD implementations
Lead all approvals, certifications and security related efforts needed to operate in DoD environment
Work with industry partners, technology vendors, communications partners to promote interoperability and technology awareness of AtHoc enterprise solutions, and initiate deployment partnerships
Work with the AtHoc CTO, product management, sales executives, account relationship managers, engineering and services organizations to align current and future DoD requirements with AtHoc roadmap
Requirements
Leadership experience in architecting, designing and implementing large scale enterprise software solutions in DoD
Extensive knowledge of DoD technical environments, procedures and approval processes
Strong grasp of network and software security DoD requirement and process
Strong cross-Service (Joint) experience
Must understand Microsoft Technology stack, network operations, unified communication and IP centric environments
A background in implementing both on-premise and SaaS environments is highly desired
Exceptional leadership, people management and mentoring skills
Proven ability to work with operational users ? understanding and analyzing needs, successfully assuring adoption of capability by operators and supporting operators
Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams
Must be a self-starter and business ?owner?
Must be a US Citizen
Security clearance required
Education
Engineering / technology background is required
Advance degree is strongly preferred
