Job Description:
Develop and Lead the Training function within the Operations Organization, including:
Program Definition:
Design organizational structure for training department to support FQ strategies and objectives
Assessing current bottlenecks due to lack of training and prioritizing the corporate training needs based on internal cost and delayed customer revenue
Formulating the budget and timeline needed to implement a training program that is both internal as well as for FuelQuest customers
Proposing the go forward plan (schedule, resources, dollars) to increase employee retention based on knowledge of solutions, accelerate revenue, and reduce burden of support
Analyze cost/benefit impact of services provided by department, implement cost control measures. Monitor expense trends and cost effectiveness.
Seek opportunities to support and improve customer, vendor, and all other key relationships
Strategy for International (Partner) Training
Program Implementation:
Hiring and managing the team needed within budget to ensure implementation within 2012.
Overseeing the implementation of a corporate and customer-facing knowledgebase across all business offerings (Tax, Fuel Center, AMS, FMS, ForeSite)
Assist in the establishment of qualitative measures to validate overall efficiency and effectiveness of training outputs
The Ideal Candidate can:
Show background strength and experience in management, and/or recognized consulting expertise in training in software, oil and gas industry preferred.
Demonstrate coaching, counseling, consulting, group facilitation, and change management skills.
Display a proven record of ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously involving various departments/divisions and levels of management.
Demonstrate solid skills in planning, budgeting, and project management.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, presentation skills, business writing skills, and PC proficiency skills, including knowledge of training software tools.
Apply technology in solving business problems.
Minimum Qualifications, Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years experience in software training and team management, or equivalent.
Experience implementing training programs from scratch, both CBT and in person.
Experience training customers and intra-company departments of various skill sets
Experience with SAAS
Certification(s) in software training preferred
