The Director of Training and Development for Remedy Informatics will build and direct the training function as a corporate profit center. Our successful candidate will be an innovative training and development leader with a track record of management success in Life Science or Healthcare IT technology.RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate customer needs into training solutions for onsite and remote HQ based training
Evaluate and utilize educational vendors to ensure state of the art training solutions
Lead the definition and implementation of global customer and employee training strategy including management of group P&L
Work effectively with Marketing, Product Directors, Sales Engineers, Project Managers and others to develop training curriculum
Develop and evaluate internal and external customer surveys to refine future training and development offerings and ensure that quality metrics are met
Participate in ?New Hire? education program for new employees
Hire, train and lead company training team
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7+ years of experience in leading development and delivery of technology training programs in Healthcare or Life Sciences
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent experience in industrial design training development and education in Medical or Life Sciences Technology
Demonstrated record of success in building and managing a profitable training function
Experience in instructional design and development of a complete training program
Strong presentation skills with professional presence
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, able to take initiative in identifying new training business opportunities
Able to multi-task effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Flexible, able to thrive in a fluid work environment
