The Director of Product Development will be the unifying force behind VuBrand's product strategy and execution, combining goals from sales, marketing, development and prospects to set the strategic vision and lead the execution on new features and products. This is an important and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high. The Director of Product Development will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with development to continue to deliver a remarkable product. Equally important, this position includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure our product supports our business model and is helping to grow VuBrand into a large and profitable company.The Director of Product Development is expected to:
Create and manage the overall Product Management process at VuBrand
Guide and champion goals from sales, marketing, development and rollout
Lead our internal process to define the product strategy, roadmap and priorities
Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features
Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company
Desired experience and expertise:
Experience as a Product Manager for a SaaS product (B2B or B2C)
Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles
Passion for web-based software products
"Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, startup attitude
Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
Ability to work with different people across a team effectively
Bachelor's degree (MBA or other Master's preferred)
Remarkable references

8 or more years of experience in one or a combination of e-commerce disciplines; Product management, Web management, UX, Web engineering, Digital technologies or other related web business technology discipline
6 or more years of direct Web Product Management experience
6 or more years of direct people management, leadership experience
Demonstrated experience communicating with Sr. Leaders
Proven ability to innovate new features to drive business performance
Proven ability to build strong cross functional relationships
Experience driving large cross-functional projects
Technical Acumen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced degree 5 or more years of experience working in a customer facing web environment
5 or more years of experience working in multi-channel, complex business environment
