JOB SUMMARY Lead all of eHarmony's online marketing programs to ignite profitable growth across all digital channels: SEM, SEO, display, online video, affiliates, business development and mobile. Lead the digital team in identifying new opportunities to grow existing channels, pursuing new channels and bringing best practices to the company. The Director, Digital Marketing is an integral member of the Marketing team, managing an eight-figure annual budget, and reporting to the head of marketing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage all search programs, display advertising, refer-a-friend programs, affiliate programs, Social & Mobile Media, business development and landing page/registration page optimization
Focus on driving maximum ad coverage while producing acceptable ROI
Oversee analyzing and optimization of keyword and display advertising campaigns
Oversee testing and analyzing all aspects of paid search systems including ad text creatives , landing pages, creative and offers
Create in-depth reports to highlight high-end and low-end performance and adjust programs accordingly
Collaborate with marketing team to uncover new opportunities
Supervise, mentor, and participate in career development of the Online Marketing team
Manage key vendor relationships with vendors such as paid search agency, creative agencies, media agency, email service provider, affiliate partners, and online media companies
Manage planning and budgeting, coordinate contracts and insertion orders, accruals, etc.
Identify opportunities to develop new channels and/or expand existing channels for customer acquisition
Coordinate with consumer marketing group for support on creative messaging, campaigns, social media, and public relations
Coordinate and gain leverage from web analytics team to support campaign analysis and optimization especially for paid search and customer list analytics/segmentation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years experience in online marketing to consumers, including SEM and social media experience
Strong analytical and reporting background around campaign optimization
Experience managing and allocating budgets
Strong capabilities around understanding cohorts, LTVs, etc.
Strong Excel, Omniture, PowerPoint and SQL skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelors Degree Required
Experience managing online marketing campaigns in a competitive consumer market
Demonstrated strength in execution and analysis
Excellent management and team leadership skills
Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate well with many stakeholders
