Everyday Health, Inc. seeks an experienced, outgoing, hard-charging product manager to help drive our mission to be the No. 1 consumer destination in digital media for on-demand, subscription-based diet and fitness programs. Since launching Southbeachdiet.com in 2003, Everyday Health, Inc. has generated more than $200M in consumer subscription revenues and has provided services to over 2M paying customers. The company has successfully brought such brands as Jillian Michaels, Denise Austin and Suzanne Somers to market.
Everyday Health, Inc. is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the overall business management of a portfolio of subscription products within the Premium Services division of Everyday Health Inc with the goal of growing the subscriber base and maximizing lifetime value those subscribers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall business management of a portfolio of subscriptions products and managing the P&L of the individual businesses in the portfolio
Responsible for developing and driving the product roadmap to deliver business results; Responsible for establishing business goals and key success metrics for each product and monitoring and reporting on performance on a regular basis
Responsible for all partner management activities across the assigned portfolio
Responsible for the analysis to define the right business strategy by product using internal and external data to make those decisions
Responsible for collaborating with the marketing team to develop customer acquisition strategiesthat are consistent with business and financial goals
Solid understanding of the Product Development cycle including: internal and external needs assessment, functional specification writing, competitive analysis, and working with technical, production, and design resources through planning, quality assurance, and a multi-phase launch
Managing a cross-functional team of product managers, editors, software engineers, and design and UX resources
Analyze and evaluate feature requests based on user metrics, market opportunities, and financial projections
Qualifications:
At least 7 to 10 years of experience in product management; an interest in health and fitness preferred.
Experience in subscription or direct marketing based businesses; understanding of customer acquisition and retention activities
Demonstrated ability to meet drive business metrics in a fast-paced environment; ability to meet deadlines, work independently, think creatively, evaluate usage data to drive business results, and multitask.
Excellent client relationship skills
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Solid analytical ability and the ability to prioritize tasks are required.
Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast paced deadline environment is a must
