THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionWe are looking for a Director of Operational Analytics who is capable of driving IT Infrastructure?s initiative to create a highly data-driven culture and capabilities to support IT Infrastructure?s values of transparency, efficiency, accountability, and data informed decision making. This role will transform how IT infrastructure measures, manages, and exposes information to decision makers from tactical response teams to functional managers, partner organizations, management and executives. This leader will be responsible for driving the strategy, architecture, roadmaps and execution of projects that will ensure practitioners and leaders of mission-critical processes such as incident, problem, change, service level management and other processes have readily accessible, relevant information for decision making and testing the effectiveness of those decisions.
Success in this role requires strong technical leadership skills, experience with measuring and reporting on service availability, service performance, SLA?s, OLA?s and KPI?s in enterprise service environments. The leader in this role must be passionate about supporting teams with trusted, relevant, timely information. This leader must be able to partner with teams throughout BP&T to ensure processes and tools are instrumented to generate meaningful data and that infrastructure is in place to collect, process, manage and expose actionable data.
In addition to being a strong technical voice, this leader must be an effective evangelist, mentor, and catalyst throughout the organization to elevate the company?s capabilities as a data-driven organization.

?Build, lead, manage, hire, retain and coach highly capable team of data management engineers and analysts.
?Collaborate, develop and manage relationships throughout the organization to reinforce a culture of service, collaboration, transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
?Establish metrics and assist process owners in establishing metrics to measure return on investments, change impact, and optimization efforts.
?Own the technology policies, organization, and processes that provide actionable operations data throughout IT.
?Develop and communicate clear performance expectations to the Operational Analytics and dependent teams. Manage those expectations through direct feedback and coaching.
?Develop and enforce best practices, tools, and techniques.
?Develop, implement and evangelize a culture of informed data-driven decision making, transparency, accountability through use of operational analytics best practices.
?Service Measurement & Reporting (IT Infrastructure)
?Collaborate with process engineering to provide process measurement and reporting
Requirements?Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline, and/or related work experience.
?10+ years of experience of managing and leading teams in the support and implementation of enterprise business and operational intelligence systems.
?5+ years' experience in employee supervision and project management.
?Demonstrated experience in operational analytics, with direct leadership experience.
?Must be a high-energy leader able to delegate and mentor effectively, yet roll up their sleeves when required to achieve results and/or demonstrate effective behavior.
?Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a proven track record of executing calmly against tough deadlines.
?Must be able to present information concisely and clearly to all levels of management, including financial, technical, and executive level audiences.
?Proven track record of successfully implementing, championing, and overseeing the successful completion of multiple projects.
?Quality and cost driven vision a must.
?Professional experience in Telecommunications and service-oriented organizations a plus.
?Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, LSS a plus.
