THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, merged with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Plans and directs the Operational Quality and Operation improvement of operational workflows. Monitors and improves operations quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction through data and workflow analysis. Director plans and directs the regulatory activities for the company related to HIPAA and Safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Champions the values and builds the culture to support the goals of the company while fostering an environment where customer service is a priority
Directs and manages the operational workflow and data analytic reporting; working with market management to maintain and improve operational quality and efficiencies.
Identifies and leads the implementation of key quality programs. Responsible for developing a rollout plan that will include training, process launch, and evaluation of effectiveness.
Leads projects to improve product and process quality, analyzes quality data (complaints, process non-conformances, process capability, etc), and supports site-level improvement plans.
Leads site quality compliance and performance regarding quality issues, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement around safety and HIPAA.
Works with the Systems (IT) organization to define business systems improvements which can leverage these efforts.
Directs and manages an operations quality program working with market management on the top 10 initiatives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Directs and manages the regulatory activities of Safety and HIPAA in conjunction with management and the Compliance Committee
Directs and manages the Safety and HIPAA Training programs in conjunction with Human Resources.
Leads Safety Committee Meetings and Clinical Forms and Consent Committee reporting to the CDI Safety Officer.
Interfaces with our other IT and business functions in the organization to coordinate activities and report progress towards goals and objectives.
Obtains appropriate approvals to move projects forward within specified time frames
Ensures staff is regularly and accurately reporting project progress and time expended.
Monitors project cost and effort against plan and takes corrective action as maybe necessary.
Analyzes data and identifies opportunities for improvement in support of company strategies and objectives.
Responsible for departmental budgets and costs.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
Knowledge of the workflow and processes found in inpatient and outpatient radiology
Knowledge of OSHA, JHACO, ACR, and other Regulatory bodies.
Knowledge of HIPAA and security regulations.
Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Health Level 7 (HL-7) Interfaces, and networks.
Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
Ability to meld workflow process with technology to create and attain the best solution for the customer and CDI.
Ability to assign and delegate work, problem solve, answer questions and evaluate results of performance.
Ability to use independent judgment to determine project guidelines, prioritization, purpose, follow-through and completion.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines with a sense of urgency
Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and details with accuracy

Skill in organizing and prioritizing of work, and following assignments through to completion
Skill in written and verbal communicatios
Requires BA/BS, preferably in medical or related field.
Requires 5-7years of Radiology Operations Management.
Must have proven and effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to speak, read and write English.
Requires travel to CDI and Insight markets
