Under broad administrative direction of the Senior Vice President of Operations, directs supply chain modeling and information management activities for the organization. Provides leadership in project management and execution related to Remedi supply chain modeling, data analysis and customer / product line profitability.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for planning and ensuring the effective execution of various initiatives within Operations regarding Pharmacy Supply Chain information management and modeling.
Develops, refines, validates and ensures completion of project workplans.
Coordinates with Finance and IT teams to ensure functional requirements are reflected in final solution(s).
Generates timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues.
Interacts with project sponsors, stakeholders and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met; assists in the post-implementation analysis to ensure that requirements are fulfilled.
Designs, manages, maintains and promotes an enterprise-wide profitability system to capture and manage data to measure product flow, expenses and revenues throughout the supply chain, from source of product to end-customer, for the purpose of monitoring product and customer profitability from a Total Cost of Ownership standpoint.
Continued promotion of the enterprise-wide profitability system by sharing with existing data systems, leveraging new data sources and integrating duplicated efforts across functions throughout Remedi SeniorCare to ensure decisions are being made from standard and accepted metrics.
Develops and implements tools to facilitate detailed supply chain modeling of product flow to optimize such items as operating efficiency (Total Cost of Ownership) capacity, inventory policies and operating policies for all products (SKUs) and lines of business against a high standard of customer service.
Responsible for detailed modeling and mapping for optimal customer assignment to Remedi SeniorCare pharmacies and works directly with Sales to ensure proper assignment.
Detailed modeling and mapping required for large customer proposals and competitive vendor/source evaluation.
Performs ad hoc data modeling or mapping as directed by the Senior Vice President, Operations.
Provides leadership in project management and execution from identification phase through final implementation.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires advanced training in fields such as finance, engineering, computer science, business administration, mathematics, accountancy, sales, marketing, logistics or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program. Requires a high degree of computer proficiency using Excel, Access, and mapping tools. Specific experience with Supply Chain Scenarios and supply chain modeling software a plus; MS in operations management or logistics a plus.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding of pharmacy operations, payers, and trends is a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate with supplier partners, customers, associates and management
Strong leadership skills
Ability to lead dynamically and energize multidiscipline work teams to learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs
Thorough knowledge and understanding of business principles, processes and technology
Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

Strong presentation skills
Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, Access databases and Microsoft Outlook
