Director, PR & Corporate Communications The Rubicon Project
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Reporting to the CMO, the Communications Director will run Rubicon Projecct?s internal and external communications efforts. He/She will plan and manage all public relations activities including defining goals, identifying opportunities, product launches, liaising with management, customers and partners. Ensure external messaging aligns with corporate strategy and major market initiatives through PR, AR & social channels. Position includes extensive writing, content & presentation development, as well as management of rigorous speaker?s bureau. The ideal candidate will have B2B enterprise marketing technology and advertising experience, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and can ?bring-it-all-together? in clear and concise communications.
Manage US agency and align global PR efforts with Rubicon Project?s International team and agencies
Develop and execute internal and external communications initiatives
Manage Content asset map and editorial calendar for bylines, blogs, 3rd party research, POVs etc.
Write multiple white papers, research reports, executive bylines and customer case studies that help generate leads and further position Rubicon Project as an industry leader in Advertising Automation.
Oversee corporate social media strategy to build awareness of the company and engage customers and thought leaders on social platforms
Work with the marketing department to provide messaging and copy for marketing communications materials (corporate literature, presentations, product/services brochures, case studies, etc.) and email marketing campaigns
Ensure all internal departments have access to the company?s most current messaging
Manage corporate and executive speaking and award submissions
Manage analyst relations and develop a quarterly analyst newsletter format
Assist with the planning and execution of corporate events and the company?s presence at tradeshows and industry conferences
Work with top-tier and important business & trade media outlets, develop and Develop content for the Rubicon Projects blogs, create editorial calendar and manage all internal and external blog contributors.
Manage thought leadership customer advisory board and annual event strategy.
Bachelor?s Degree in Journalism, English or Marketing Communications, MBA preferred.
6 ? 8 years relevant work experience, journalism and solid writing experience a must. Portfolio required. Strong writing skills and experience writing translating highly technical information into simple and compelling value propositions
Has an advanced understanding of B2B marketing technologies and agency ecosystem trends/developments, and uses this knowledge to present communications strategies
Experience working with social media sites and building a community of followers
Experience with social media tools including Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Flipbook, FaceBook, and YouTube.
Experience developing and running content marketing, email marketing and digital marketing programs
Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization with execs and employees from engineering, product, finance, sales, networks, talent, legal, HR and the C-suite
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
