Ruckus Wireless, an industry leader in Wi-Fi technical innovation, is looking for a talented Senior Manager to join their growing Carrier Sales team. Ruckus Wireless has an immediate position open for a Carrier Pre-Sales Systems Engineering Sr Mgr/Director for the Americas. The candidate is responsible for managing and growing a team of Systems Engineers to support carrier sales to both MNO and MSO customers. Candidate will be responsible for growing the team beyond the current size of 8 Engineers to meet the needs of a quickly growing market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a team of Pre-Sales Systems Engineers to support MSO and MNO sales within North and South America.
Work with Sales to set prioritization of resources and SE time.
Identify opportunities to develop and provide training to members of the SE team
Provide career guidance to members of the Carrier SE team.
Coordinate customer and SE feedback to PLM to aid in the development of products, features, and services.
Identify and develop methods to improve the entire technical sales process from introduction, through proof-of-concept and installation, and into maintenance.
Work with Technical Support to provide assistance in the field when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years Pre-Sales SE Management experience.
Technical sales experience with Carriers, preferably with both MSOs and MNOs.
Proven experience building a team from early days to maturity to include specializations within the team.
Experience working with 3GPP packet core technologies
Preference for experience working with WiFi, especially outdoor deployments.
Willing and able to travel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency a plus.
