Rhythm NewMedia is looking for a Account Manager to join our team.
Rhythm NewMedia is looking for a Director, Pricing and Yield Management to join the Revenue Operations team in Mountain View, CA. This role will support the Revenue Operations, Business Development and Advertising Sales organizations by managing inventory yield and pricing across the Rhythm network.
Responsibilities:
Develop quantitative models to forecast, proactively manage and analyze ad inventory
Provide actionable inventory and pricing analysis and insights related to advertising demand and supply quality, volume and overall yield management
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Ad Sales, Ad Operations, Business Development, Sales Development, Product Management, and Finance to identify pricing, inventory and revenue opportunities
Identify requirements for pricing and yield management tools, processes and reporting that will streamline access to necessary information across the sales, operations, business development and finance organizations
Develop inventory estimates and pricing for new products as needed
Employ in-depth understanding of ad functionality, availability, supply and demand, and delivery mechanism to influence market rate card and pricing of custom ad packages
Integrate pricing models and inventory segmentation
Analyze competitive landscape and sales behavior to identify trends and optimize pricing
Understand product and inventory trends and pricing to help lift yield and maximize overall revenue streams
Desired Skills & Experience
At least 5 years work experience with demonstrable results in the development and implementation of dynamic pricing and inventory management solutions in the digital advertising industry
Advanced degree in Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics from a highly rated school or MBA from a top business school with a highly quantitative focus
Proven, analytical problem-solver who can identify, prioritize and drive high impact issues to resolution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience with digital ad serving solutions (e.g., DFA, DFP, Atlas, etc.) and/or inventory management systems
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Demonstrated project management skills to drive critical projects to completion with minimal supervision
Experience working with relational databases and SQL query languages
Comfortable in a rapidly evolving environment
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and across all levels of an organization
Demonstrated understanding of trends in digital advertising and the mobile advertising ecosystem a plus
