As AtHoc is going through a significant growth phase, we seek a Director, Product Management and Marketing who will drive product direction and align product strategy, planning and execution with AtHoc?s corporate business strategy. Reporting to the CTO, our executive will play a key role in the future growth of the business.
Full responsibility for driving product strategy and executing on all inbound product management and outbound product marketing activities
Oversee the definition of product requirements based on customer needs, competitive offerings, advisory boards and technology trends
Drive segmentation of market and product segments
Work closely with engineering to ensure timely delivery of product deliverables and releases
Identify, establish business relationships, and work with key technology/OEM/product partners, channels and customers
Formalize, manage, own and evolve AtHoc model for product lifecycle process consisting of:
Market Focus Plans (MFP)
Partner Development Plans (PDP)
Customer Focus Plans (CFP)
Work closely with Customer Success team to develop and facilitate customer advocacy function
Pitch and present products to all constituencies and continuously ensure communication of product strategy
Develop and communicate differentiated value propositions and messaging for AtHoc?s platform and applications
Develop Product Advisory Boards made up of partners, customers and channels
Deep hands-on experience in developing complex enterprise software platforms with multiple product lines and vertical markets from scratch
8+ years of increasingly responsible roles in Product Management in a start-up environment, including team management
Working experience with user interaction/experience and working with UI/UX experts
Deep domain experience with the public safety market and emergency management market, in particular mass notification, physical security, e911 and/or Computer Aided Dispatch systems (CAD)
A technical background with a strong focus on building processes
Experience working/interacting with government/public sector customer base
Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, incremental, spiral)
Familiarity with software as a service
A keen eye for the precise details of building great software products
MBA or equivalent experience
Engineering / technology background is strongly weighted
