Director, Product Management Vertafore, Inc.
This position will report directly to the VP of Product Management and will be a key contributor of the Product Leadership team through all stages of the Product Lifecycle.This position is responsible for managing a team of Product Managers / Business Analysts and is accountable for delivering the following:
Product strategy and innovation ? Leads cross-functional team to deliver product strategy and product portfolio management, integrated product planning, and competitive differentiation.
Product roadmap ? Leads team in translating consumer needs into product features, works collaboratively with the development teams and develops innovative growth strategies.
Product P&L results - Leads team to build market share, positive brand awareness and profitability grounded in deep consumer, product, and market understanding.
Operational Excellence ? Leads team in execution of key assigned deliverables and executes challenging business plans on time, on budget, and on goal. Ensures that company best practices are utilized in pursuit of objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Commercial and/or Personal Insurance products desired.
Experience working in commercial software development beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to represent the Company?s interests to independent insurance agents, software development teams and executive leadership team desired.
Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to make and execute data-driven decisions.
Experience managing and developing high performing teams
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in alignment with organizational goals.
7+ years of SW Product Management or relevant discipline experience.
Master's degree and/or a Bachelor's degree in an analytical field of study or within the software development field.
