Who We Want:
Bazaarvoice Product Management is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management who will be responsible for the Bazaarvoice Connections initiative. Connections is an important strategic initiative that is signing up hundreds of small- to
medium-sized brands who can answer customer questions and respond to reviews on
retail sites. Because this business needs to scale to the smaller global brands
an ideal candidate will have both ecommerce experience, and will have an understanding of managing a consumer-like new customer acquisition process.
Develop and execute a data-driven strategy for acquiring thousands of global customers in a cost efficient manner.
Pilot and roll-out products that help brands and retailers engage with customers and drive revenue through online shopping.
Work closely with engineering in an agile environment.
Establish regular interactions with internal stakeholder teams (Account Management, Sales, Implementation, Support, Finance, Legal, etc) to ensure that these stakeholder needs are accounted for and incorporated into product plans
Evaluate and execute partnerships where necessary for success of the product line
Participate in other strategic initiatives and in partnership with the SVP Media Products
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
- Minimum of 5 years? experience in product management, preferably in ecommerce or related tools.
- Demonstrated experience with customer acquisition programs, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, and work effectively in a cross-functional,
matrixed management environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, active listening, writing skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit for building new businesses within an existing organization.
- Proven ability to work with engineering to ship products
