Responsibilities
As the Director of Product Management ? Live, you?ll create, manage and own a product (or products) that utilizes a new distributed live streaming technology that is currently in development.
Specific responsibilities include:
Conducting deep customer and product discovery work to identify opportunities in potential markets
Engaging with your product team and provide the vision and direction needed to create great products
Being the expert on the market and the customers you?ll serve (competitive landscape and the ability to clearly articulate why your product can win there)
Ensuring your product team has a deep understanding of the target market and customer
Establishing a clear path for your product(s) will earn revenue and achieve profitability
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates will posses a strong combination of the following experience:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business or related (MBA a plus)
7+ years consumer software/web product management experience (experience with live streaming technologies a plus)
Experience developing new products (or significant new features) aimed at winning new users
Track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic, company culture
Experience working with Agile development teams and methodologies
Must have ability to lead a product forward while taking into account the needs of multiple constituents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and ability to work well in a team environment
Familiar with BitTorrent technologies and ecosystem
