This role will be a key contributor to the success of the Ask Partner Network which is one of the fastest growing business units within IAC.
We deliver customized browser extension & search products to partners who are interested in integrating their technology into the user?s browser to monetize site traffic.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
New product development:
Deliver new products that are competitive and differentiated with other leading providers;
Define product requirements for next generation products
Develop metrics and analysis that demonstrate how our product offering competes in the marketplace
Design and deliver products for partners:
Support internal business development team efforts to win partner deals with sustainable solutions
Manage the on-time delivery of new products to partners
Work with partners to ensure new products meet their needs throughout the partner lifecycle (negotiation, development-integration, launch, reporting)
REQUIREMENTS:
5 + years of software relevant (web or client) product management experience
A passion for solving complicated problems and becoming the product champion for several types of products
A proven ability to write detailed product requirement documents
Ability to analyze competitive landscape and design short-term and long-term roadmaps that lead to develop sustainable product differentiation from competition
Technical ability to rapidly develop deep understanding of current product suite
Leadership ability to manage and work with all critical functional teams
Experience and interpersonal skills needed to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and customers in such a way that builds credibility with customers at all levels of their organization
An understanding of the principles of UX, applied to web sites and client software
Creativity ? both for designing products and for getting things done quickly
Technical understanding of web and client software development methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in image editing software, wiki markup, and bug tracking tools
