Responsible for setting the strategic direction for a portfolio of products. Ensures that the portfolio investments and priorities are aligned with Peoplefluent goals and drives large cross functional initiatives from planning to delivery. Leads a team of product managers and product analysts to use their analytical skills to assess the market, understand the competition, determine the value of a new product enhancement, work with engineering to scope the effort, prioritize those enhancements against other work, work with engineering to deliver the product, and then work with sales to deliver those enhancements to the market. Act as product evangelist, working with clients and partners to understand their problems and experiences and identify ways to improve the product.
?Setting the strategic direction for a portfolio of products.
?Ensuring that portfolio investments and prioritizes are aligned with Peoplefluent goals.
?Creating, gaining approval for, managing and publishing an 18-month product roadmap based on the business value of future product enhancements. Size and scope effort with engineering, and prioritize against all other development activities. Works across products with other product managers to deliver an integrated and emotionally engaging user experience.
?Creating clear and compelling business requirements that describe what is needed, why it is needed, and what it means to the customer.
?Working with clients to understand their needs and pain points. This knowledge will drive enhancements to future product releases.
?Maintaining a portfolio fact-book that communicates market positioning, target market, market trends, unique selling propositions, overall value proposition, and strategic goals.
?Managing P&L for the assigned portfolio; evaluating revenue performance and expenses and aligning with corporate strategy / plan.
?Strong analytical skills.
?Good business judgment with the ability to be decisive with available information.
?Proven experience driving product roadmap adoption
?Ability to work with development teams. Able to understand basic software development in order to work with engineering to scope and prioritize features.
?Strong communication skills & the ability to speak both technically and persuasively
?Ability to work with clients to understand needs and bring to resolution
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
?Experience leading project teams, influencing decisions and delivering results on high priority items
?B.S. or B.A. required, MBA preferred.
?Experience working in HR and in the Talent Management space is preferred but not required.
