We need a proven leader with the experience, creativity and vision to own and drive a radically new and better Healthline.com. Key Responsibilities
Lead product vision and strategy
Contribute to and evangelize a transformative product vision for Healthline.com
Identify and analyze product opportunities in light of business objectives
Develop research-driven and data-driven customer insights
Define, crystallize and evangelize strategic product direction
Maintain product road map
Prioritize, manage and communicate issue backlog
Collect and evaluate input from internal and external sources
Foster collaboration and discussion about tradeoffs
Guide product development process
Oversee requirements documentation for your own projects and those of and your direct reports
Coordinate development and design teams to facilitate on-time, high quality project execution
Oversee product and business analysis
Identify, measure and report on key performance metrics
Manage 2 Product Managers/Senior Product Managers
Required Skills / Experience.
A track record of success building engaging (and growing) consumer websites
10+ years of consumer product management leadership, with a minimum of two years at an online media company
Deep and innate understanding of key media website disciplines and technologies: SEO, making advertising a positive part of the site experience, CMS, etc.
Ability to think strategically, then execute and close transactions necessary to implement the strategy
Passion for perfection and a CEO mindset - "the buck stops here"
Demonstrated success in managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception through post-launch
Successfully mentored and managed teams of product managers and cross-functional disciplines with varying levels of seniority
Proven ability to effectively balance the sometimes conflicting needs of customers, executives, advertisers, sales personnel
Proven track record of analytics-driven decision-making
Strong leadership skills and powers of influence/persuasion
B.A required; MBA preferred
