Director Product Management - User Experience Narus

A well-designed product reinforces and strengthens the Narus brand and accelerates the speed at which new users adopt our products. The UX/UI Product Management role is to work with customers, design agencies, other product managers, designers, and developers to create these products.
The UX/UI Designer is responsible for the following:
Data and observations. You?ll translate research, evidence, analytics, and network/log data into effective design decisions. You?re able to validate designs for ease of use and ability to meet business objectives.
Continual refinement and improvement. You?ll develop tools and processes to constantly improve usability and create functional, simple solutions to complex issues. You?ll develop user personas and scenarios to clarify results of research and focus the team?s design efforts on the needs of key users.
Creating and inventing. You?ll use a broad toolkit of design methodologies to help guide the design and development process - sketching, wireframes, task flows, high-fidelity comps, and prototyping. You have a functional knowledge of the opportunities and limitations that come with web-based software delivered in HTML5 and CSS3.
Collaborating. You?ll work closely with all relevant teams including software development, quality assurance, project leads, and marketing during the design and product development stages.
Presenting your work. You jump at the chance to share what you?ve done and can provide a strong rationale for the decisions you have made.
Successful candidates for the position must meet the following requirements:
15 years work experience in product management, product development and a research/design role. A degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or engineering is preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of web design best practices and usability principles.
A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to design clean, modern, inspiring pixel-perfect interfaces across differing browsers and devices.
Solid understanding of the capabilities of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience using different development methodologies, including Agile.
Able to work autonomously, and multitask in dynamic environments.
Exceptional collaborator, communicator (written and verbal), and influencer.
