Summary Description
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Client Services & Product Marketing, the Director of Product Marketing translates market and business requirements into executable marketing strategies and programs for the company?s Operational Risk Management solutions. Director manages team responsible for market-facing product/solution messages, sales tools and programs aligned with company goals and objectives. This ?self-starter? individual is a hands-on, execution marketing leader who excels at communicating across multiple departments and management levels within and outside the company.
Essential Duties
Collaborate with Product Management team to collect and analyze competitive and market research, monitoring competitive activity and identifying client product/solution needs
Articulates clear product messaging platform, defining broad and competitor-specific differentiators
Recommends product enhancements, based on client need and market conditions
Oversees development and execution of new enhancement release communication plans
Directs development of product-focused marketing collateral & sales tools ? case studies, white papers, web content, product brochures, trade show demos, facts sheets and competitive SWOT analyses
Defines and, in coordination with Marketing Communications, implements awareness and lead generation programs to establish, enhance or distinguish product market position
Supports channel marketing strategy and requirements
Engages clients in online communities, surveys, client advisory councils and meetings to solicit product/solution feedback and to highlight iJET product/solution value
Represents the company by engaging industry analysts on products and services
Education/Experience:
BS/BA in Marketing or Communications required; Masters preferred
Minimum 7+ years Product Marketing experience for B2B products and solutions
Experience in a high technology industry strongly preferred
Prior experience as a solutions consultant a plus
Skills/Abilities:
Proven marketing communications skills (strategy, concepts, practices and procedures)
Proven ability to translate market business needs to a company?s products and services value
Ability to understand software applications a must
Demonstrated strategic plan development and associated tactics & implementation
High degree of personal and business ethics
Ability to effectively present information in oral and written form to clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Passionate about iJET?s business, industry
Periodic travel required (approximately 10%)
